Spring Brings with it Season of Lent, Marti Gras and Live Crawfish for Sale

crawfish for saleThere are many people who crave the taste of crawfish and crayfish but don’t live near any open waterways that feature these delicacies of the deep blue. No matter where you might live, there are places online in which to order crayfish for sale and crawfish for sale that will be delivered directly to your front door, or your work, packed on ice and fresh so that they can be cooked in the recipes you and your family enjoy most.

Especially with the season of Lent coming up – the Catholic time of fasting, meatless meals, reflection and penance – people may want to give their families a variety of fish dishes and that might include crawfish gumbo or simply boiled crawfish. Ordering fresh, live crawfish for sale over the Internet is a great way to fix a meatless meal for a family celebrating the season of Lent.

And right before the Lent season of fish begins is the Fat Tuesday ‘carnival’ for the Marti Gras celebration. People all over the country want to be in the city that knows how to celebrate Marti Gras and that’s New Orleans. However, having your own Marti Gras party with friends and family is the next best thing to being there and serving delicious crawfish from a live crawfish for sale website will turn your party into one of the best on the block. Everybody loves live crawfish and crayfish and now you can serve them to your guests for a reasonable price.

Many of the live crawfish and crayfish for sale websites also feature specialty dry mixes and ‘rubs’ for making a special crawfish or crayfish gumbo, appetizer or main entrée featuring the delicious little red crustations. Many of these mixes are recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation and are probably the best tasting additive for crayfish or crawfish you will ever find because they come from the heart of the crawfish country where people knew and still know how to cook a good pot of crayfish.

Tampa Doggie Daycare Cares about Dogs Day And Night

Tampa dog groomingA countless number of people who do not have children consider their four-legged friends to be part of their family and treat their dogs as children even taking them to a Tampa doggie daycare while they go off to work.

Other dog parents who cannot afford doggy daycare, lavish their dogs with as many gifts as they can afford or simply use a dog bone cookie cutter and a special dog treat recipe to make their dogs all natural cookies or treats for when they are good or simply because they love them.

Another way a dog owner shows their love for their dog is by taking them to a Tampa dog grooming salon in which they are pampered just as if they were ladies going to the beauty salon to have their hair done, a manicure and pedicure and some well deserved pampering.

A doggie daycare works similar to that of a child day care in which the dogs are dropped off early in the morning and then picked up later in the evening.  There are fun activities planned in which the dogs can interact with each other, also known as playtime; there is nap time – some doggie daycares have large comfortable couches and overstuffed chairs for them to lounge on while watching television – cartoons and animal planet of course – while waiting for their lunch and afternoon snack.

If one of the dogs has a birthday, then extra treats are passed out before afternoon nap time or extra long playing time is allowed.  Some doggie daycares do not use kennels but rather allow the dogs to roam free throughout the facility just as they would at home, making them feel more at home.  Others use kennels to keep the dogs separate and from fighting with each other which can sometimes be a real problem.

Many of the doggie daycares have you bring in your dog for a temperament test to make sure they get along with other dogs and do not cause problems with the other pets. This is for the safety of your dog and the other dogs.

Michigan Wedding Offers Gorgeous Castle Destination Nuptials Inside Or Out

castle weddingA destination wedding can be costly, especially those held in Hawaii, the Bahamas, Italy or some other exotic locale.  Many young girls dream of their Prince Charming and perhaps a castle wedding but don’t have the budget or the monetary means to plan and execute a destination wedding to England, Scotland or the South of France where most of the castle weddings are held.

Brides are in luck because the United States has a beautiful century old castle in Michigan that offers couples the luxury of being married within the castle walls or outside in one of the many unique and gorgeous gardens.  Additionally, the Midwest offers four distinct seasons – Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter in which a couple could choose to be married on a crisp, clear Autumn day instead of a hot summer day where everyone is practically melting.

A castle wedding could take on many themes and not only the first one that comes to mind – a fairy tale with Prince Charming and a princess, however the castle does lend itself to this type of wedding.  Many young couples who are into Gothic Romance have wed with the castle as their backdrop and of course traditional weddings are always welcome both inside the castle and outside in the gardens, even in the beautiful snowy winter.

Furthermore, with a traditional wedding, the bride usually does all the planning, with a little help from the groom, but with a destination wedding, the bride hands over all the planning and preparation to a wedding planner who specifically deals with the castle and a Michigan wedding in order to get the bride and groom much-needed stress-free time to prepare their home and for their future.

About the only thing the bride and groom would have to worry about are the invitations.  Inviting the guests to a destination wedding is typically done approximately two to three months in advance of the day of the wedding to give their guests time to make their arrangements for travel, hotel accommodations and perhaps time off work.

Beach Cruisers Making a Come Back and Not only in the Costal Areas – all across the Nation

beach cruisersSchwinn first introduced people to the beach cruisers during the Great Depression when bike sales were at their lowest.  It was no longer a carefree era when women put on their best beach dresses and men wore white pants and matching coats and they cycled around the beach or along the boardwalk on a sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoon.  Adults no longer purchased bicycles because they thought it was a frivolous waste of money, mostly since people had no money to spend on food let alone something as extravagant as beach cruisers bicycles.

Beach cruiser bicycles have seen an increase in sales and popularity during the 30s and 40s when some models of the beach cruisers weighed nearly 50 pounds, combining upright seating posture with balloon tires, a straightforward steel construction, single-speed mechanics all with expensive style.

Unfortunately for the beach cruisers, the 50s and 60s brought bicycles imported from Great Britain, which were more popular because these bikes were lighter – weighing only 30 to 40 pounds and they had greater hill climbing capabilities, were more nimble for sports, plus the British bikes featured three speeds, taller wheels and a more narrow tire – just what a family in the suburbs needed.

During the same time period was the first appearance of the muscle bicycle or low-rider that featured banana seats and shift levers that were oversized.  These bikes eventually transformed into what are now known as the BMX bikes and then they were turned into mountain bikes which both styles experienced a surge in popularity in the 90s and continue to see spurts of heavy sales here and there depending on the countries love affair with cycling.

Although people never forgot beach cruisers, their ‘retro-style’ look and comfortable ride make them a major attraction to baby boomers nationwide.  Even though beach cruiser bicycles were once typically beach bikes for sale in coastal areas, they are being sold inland as well and not only to ‘boomers’ but to the environmentally conscious crowd and those who want to stay in shape.
